3. Get a DUNS. This is a Data Universal Numbering System, a unique number assigned in a business. Once the business is registered in the Central Contractor Registry. It will serve as your identification number.
4. Do your homework. Identifying the target audience is one important aspect in business. You need to understand and more things about government, its policies and other things which are important for the benefits of your own business.
5. Have a reference. The government gives emphasis on the past performance of the company, Have some references for to make the government satisfied on you.
6. Maintain a Best Value. The government provides a long term contract. When entering the business, do your best all the time. Have a good business plan and broad ideas in marketing your business. Your performance will be the basis so that the government will get your service again.
